DANGEROUS HERBS TO AVOID

If you can’t positively identify a plant, we encourage staying away from it altogether. However, some plants are deadly and should never be handled in any capacity. The following isn’t a full list of toxic plants, but a handful to keep in mind about avoiding. We recommend doing research in your state and local area and become familiar with wild toxic plants if you intend to forage for your herbs. There are many safe plants that have similarities to other deadlier versions, just like foraging for mushrooms, never consume or pick anything you’re not 100% certain about. Of course, some of these plants are gorgeous additions to your garden, just don’t consume or use them.
